Hole #17 is a par 5 to start of the closing stretch. From the tee the ideal shot is right up the middle just at the crest of the hill that slopes down. A little draw off the left edge of the bunkers guarding the right side would be an ideal shot shape. The 2nd shot with enough room to see around the corner will give a player a chance to go for it in two shots, but hitting a layup to the left side of the fairway will setup an approach shot with the correct angle to use the green slopes to your advantage.
