Hole #1 is a perfect example of a “welcome to golf” handshake. It is straight away par 4 with an hourglass tiered green. The Bunkers down the right side of the fairway guard against an errant tee shot & the trees and a mild slope guard against a shot missed to the left. The best play is a shot up the right side of the fairway, which will lead to a clear view of the green.
